Joe Tidd is a rising force in the Midwest comedy scene, a chaos junkie, now married and accompanied by two dogs who tolerate his punchlines. In a relatively short time, Joe has headlined notable venues including Decibel’s at On the Roxx, the Market Lounge, and the Drop Comedy Club. He’s been featured in popular showcases such as the Waukegan Comedy Festival, Loons on the Lake, the World Series of Comedy, and Don’t Tell Comedy.
Joe is also the co-founder of Bit Machine Productions and is widely recognized as a cornerstone of the Michiana comedy community. He has opened for national headliners including Kyle Kinane, Kevin Farley, and Chris Kattan, among others. His performances have spanned two countries—and one tornado.
Joe’s comedic style blends sharp storytelling with just the right dose of shock, earning reviews like: “Pretty funny… where’s the restroom?” When he’s not on stage, you’ll find him on the rugby pitch playing for the Michiana Moose Rugby Football Club, or co-hosting the Trauma Bonding Podcast.
The crowning achievement of his career so far? Taking 2nd place in a sanctioned musical chairs competition—He’s been chasing that chaos ever since.
Joe is a versatile performer who can host, headline, feature, or guest on any show. He collaborates with a diverse roster of emerging comedians and has the ability to produce and perform a wide range of comedy formats—anywhere in the U.S.
